Transfer: Messi accepts world-record offer to join new club
Messi’s father and agent, Jorge, has accepted a record-breaking offer of €1.2billion from Al-Hilal over two seasons, according to Foot Mercato.
That amount is worth more than double what Cristiano Ronaldo earns at Al-Nassr.
Although Messi’s preference is a return to Barcelona, his increasing acceptance of the Catalan club’s financial issues is pushing him further towards the Gulf State.
